About VillagerGolf
By Villagers, for Villagers. Because you shouldn't have to drive across three zip codes to find out the greens are aerated.
Why we built this
The Villages has more golf courses per capita than almost anywhere in the country. But finding out which courses are in great shape today? That info is scattered across outdated websites, Facebook groups, and word-of-mouth at the pro shop.
VillagerGolf brings it all together. Live open/closed status, condition ratings, community reviews, and course details for every executive and championship course — one site, no login required.
We pull official status data from the District Government maintenance page and course details from GolfTheVillages.com, then layer on community ratings so you always know the full picture before you tee off.
How the ratings work
Our 4-category rating system is inspired by the Greenskeeper app and weighted to reflect what matters most on the course:
Speed, smoothness, trueness of roll
Turf density, lie quality, divot repair
Sand consistency, rake quality, drainage
Surface quality, tee marker placement, level
Independent & community-driven
VillagerGolf is an independent community project. We are not affiliated with The Villages, Holding Company of The Villages, Inc., or the Village Center Community Development District.
We don't charge for access, and we never will. This is a passion project built by a Villager who got tired of showing up to aerated greens with no warning.
Get involved
VillagerGolf gets better when more Villagers contribute. After your round, take 30 seconds to rate the course conditions. Your report helps the next player decide where to play.
